Happy Valentine's Day!!!

To the Victors Go the Spoils of Volleyfest

Volleyfest welcomed the 12 Black team with open arms, and the young ladies now embrace the hardware they earned with an undefeated run through both pool play and three rounds of bracket play.  Good luck at the Stars Shootout in a couple of weeks.  Congrats also for the 2nd place finish by the ladies of 18 Black.

14 White and 16 White Fiesta Runner-UP

14 White and 16 White both had great outings this past weekend at the February Fiesta. The girls worked hard to finish 2nd among ten teams each. Congratulations to both teams for their accomplishment and great representation. Good luck at your next tournament. Photos Pending

Battle Was Waged and Won

16 Black headed to Battle at the Fort and returned home champions for the third straight tournament.  32 teams sought the title, but in the end only one remained on top.Stefani Nell was named the MVP, and Amy Schatzmann and Sara Jones were selected to the all-tournament team.  All-tournament honors also went to Bri Goodwin for the 17's division.  13 Black finished 2nd as well.
The ladies fought hard to finish as the runner-up champions. Though they set their sights higher at the start, they should be excited to finish so high. Keep working hard; better finishes await!  Congratulations to Claire Farmer and Taylan Nero for their all-tournament honors.

12 Black Wins Winter Volley

These young ladies stepped up and represented Coach Sirola and their families well in the first win of the season.  Good luck down the road at Volleyfest.  Keep working hard!

Inaugural Win for 11 Black

Club ONE began its program for eleven year olds this season; though they played in an early bird, this past weekend was the team's first regular season tournament, and the ladies of 11 black grabbed the title. Congratulations to Coach Wynn, the players, and all of the parents for a job done well.

The Pattern Continues at Tulsa Attack

12 teams took to the courts this weekend at the Tulsa Attack tournament.  11 of the 12 made the gold division championships.  Though the tournament is still underway, several top finishes occurred this morning.  13 Black and 14 Red (photo left) won championships, and the 13 Red were the runner-up.
Club ONE landed teams in four of the five division's championship matches, winning all four.  15 and 16 Black (photos below) played up an age division and claimed the title of overall champions.  At this time our teams begin to travel to tournaments in smaller clusters as we spread around the state and country.  Good luck and keep those results coming!

Redlands Rendezvous

18 Black Champ Photo Pending
Club ONE's trip to OKC for the two-day tournament at the convention center was a great start to the season.  Eleven teams advanced from pool play to the gold division, our highest number ever.  We played in five of the gold division finals with four winning 1st overall.  Ten teams total finished in the top ten.

The 14 Black, 15 Black and 18 Black teams are currently undefeated.  The 13 Black and 16 Black made an excellent surge since OR.  15s and 16s are are set to compete in older divisions at the Tulsa Attack.

Club ONE Triumphs Another Early Bird

The 13 Red traveled before Christmas to open their season at the OK Storm Early Bird tournament. When the dust settled, these 12 ladies were crowned the champions.

Club ONE, From Last to First

When the 15 Black arrived in Kansas City for the Power League Early Bird, they were seeded last of the ten teams entered. Any others thinking, “At least we aren't seeded last!”, quickly found there was a surprise waiting at #10; these girls intended to make their way up from the back of the pack. To finish first in a tournament filled predominantly with teams hoping to reach the national tournament is a step in the right direction with many more strides to come. Good luck in your quest.

Club ONE Starts Strong at ORU Early Bird

All of our 14s, 15 Red, and 15 White started the season at ORU December 10. They were accompanied by the 13 Black team playing up in the 14's division. We were excited to see everyone playing strong throughout pool play and into bracket. Congrats to the 14 Black (below left), and 15 Red (left) for finishing first overall.  All of the 16s and 17s took the court on Sunday, December 11 where 17 Black claimed their first championship as well(below right).

Keep up the great work.  Team reps are continuing to submit results the club will pass along for qualifiers and the regional tournament.
